"Welcome and thank you for reaching out! I know how hard it can be to take this step, and I want you to know that you should feel proud for taking the initiative in helping yourself with whatever it is that you are experiencing. Therapy is a gift that you give to yourself, and it is something that all of us can benefit from. If you could heal faster, deeper, and learn along the way, why wouldn’t you? I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) with more than 20 years of Social Work experience caring for individuals and their families ages 5-95 in various settings such as hospice, hospitals, schools, their homes, etc. I enjoy working collaboratively with adult clients to create a relationship of mutual trust. I have a passion for helping my clients through life changes and personal challenges. My areas of focus include supporting major life adjustments; aging and declining health or chronic illness; depression; anxiety; separation/divorce; recovery; parenting and co-parenting; aging or ill loved ones; social justice issues; cultural conflicts within families; grief and loss; and more. No matter what difficulties you are facing, I am here to partner with you to get through them together. Now more than ever, we all need someone to talk to who can truly hear us and offer unbiased support and guidance. Together, we will identify your goals and work to achieve them in therapy. Whether that includes increasing self-esteem, self-worth, self-confidence, or improving decision-making skills – therapy is a great place to work through these areas and more. I use an integrative style of therapies based on your goals and needs. This might include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy coupled with a variety of skill-building exercises for stress management, Mindfulness, and coping strategies. Previous clients have described me as being very easy to talk to, very supportive, non-judgmental, compassionate, and down to earth.
