Welcome to the next step in your life journey and exploration of change. I am Kristin, and I have worked in the field of mental health services for over 10 years. I am organized, experienced, dedicated, and utilize a client-centered approach. With an eclectic background and a range of counseling skills—including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and multisystemic therapy (MST)—I encourage and inspire you to be YOUR BEST self. Helping families and couples identify areas of instability while shifting their mindset to reach their highest potential, both as individuals and as a unit, is my specialty. I hold a Master of Education in Rehabilitation Counseling from Coppin State University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support diverse client needs. It’s critical to promote healthy living from a holistic standpoint—mind, body, and spirit—to bring out the best in clients. I am passionate about helping people evolve, accept, and change what is needed for them to operate within their normal. I work within the capabilities of you and/or your family to ensure services are effective and that you walk away knowing you’ve achieved your therapeutic and life goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The initial session is a time for you to share what as impeded you and/or your family/couple from reaching successes. Have a starting point in what to address has you embark in this therapeutic relationship. Moreover, know you have a safe space to openly share and express your thoughts and feelings without any biases.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
