I am a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University with a Bachelor's degree and earned my Master's in Social Work from Howard University in Washington, DC. For 13 years, I have been working in the field of mental health, providing services in both DC and Maryland. My therapeutic orientation is cognitive behavioral therapy; however, I also utilize other evidence-based treatments to meet the unique needs of each client, including psychodynamic counseling, humanistic approaches, and mindfulness-based counseling. Additionally, I have experience supporting clients through a variety of mental health challenges. I believe that change comes only when we look at ourselves holistically and remain open to growth. Let’s work together on your journey of CHANGE!
