I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I am a Women's Mental Health Therapist with over 15 years in the field. I believe in providing clients a safe, person-centered, solution-focused, holistic environment to take their power back and step into the life they were meant to live. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, postpartum support, perimenopause/menopause, self-worth, and self-esteem. My approach I take a collaborative, compassionate, and humanistic approach to therapy. I fully believe the session is your session and it is important to be addressing your needs and identified goals. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches in my practice, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness. I do not believe there is one prescriptive method and tailor my approach depending on each client's unique needs. My focus While in my career I have worked with men and women across all age ranges and backgrounds, primarily focused on substance misuse and families within the child welfare system, my practice now focuses on working with women. My focus is on supporting women ages 16+ dealing with: Aging, Anxiety, Depression, Divorce, Domestic Violence, Grief and Loss, Job Stress, Life Transitions, Perimenopause/Menopause, Pregnancy/Prenatal/Postpartum Concerns, Self-Esteem, Stress, Trauma, and PTSD. I am also committed to providing supportive, affirmative care for clients in the LGBTQIA+ community. My communication style Our sessions will be conversational and genuine as we work towards the goals you have identified. My past clients have described me as easy to talk to and kind. I strive to create a collaborative, safe, and relaxed environment in order for clients to feel at ease and be able to be themselves without fear of judgment.
