Hello! I have ten years experience in mental health care, focusing on serious mental illness. I am a clinical social worker, trained in psychodynamic work. I am broad in my scope of service, but my main focus is on the daily pressures of living, our relationships with others and ourselves, and untangling the complexities of our own minds. I specifically focus on depression/anxiety, attention deficit difficulties, relationships, stress, and identity.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is to focus on what is important to you, while taking the opportunities we can to delve deeper into what is running beneath the hood, so to speak. I like to take multiple viewpoints in my work, illuminating my patients' needs and concerns from different angles to show them new ways of understanding themselves and their world.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I would hope that each time we meet my patients leave with a stronger understanding of themselves; they may have better insight into their motivations, or their stress, or the deeper meaning behind their daily experiences. I want people to feel better, more confident in living, and less powerless to live their lives.
