He didn’t seem to understand what I was there for. Wouldn’t give evaluations or diagnoses because he claimed therapists should never do that, but that’s all I was there to get. Every other therapist and psychologist I know regularly gives evaluations. We mostly argued about beliefs, with him claiming my bad beliefs were the problem, and that I was too young to have permanent core beliefs (I’m 22). When I asked how to change these supposedly bad beliefs, he didn’t have a satisfying answer. Would not recommend personally.
