Hello, I am Richard, a Clinical Social Worker licensed in the states of Texas and Louisiana. I have been in clinical private practice for three and a half decades, working with all ages and virtually all mental health issues. I completed my Master's Degree in Social Work at Louisiana State University. I decided to enter this field due to my relationship with a mentally ill family member. I have extensive experience and training working with the following conditions: Depression and Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Complicated Grief Reactions, Anger Management, Stress Management, Trauma and Abuse, Chronic Mental Illness, Self-Image and Self-Esteem Issues, Spiritual Issues, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Mr. Babin is a consummate professional with a clear lifetime of useful experience, but he does an excellent job of not coming across as superior or "knowing better." Bless him, he is also immensely patient with my rambling but with a singular question or a small statement he can redirect me to something constructive. I am hard pressed to think of anyone that wouldn't get something out of working with him.
