Getting to know Robins Prophete

I am passionate about helping my patients live meaningful lives. Doing so often means facing stressors and discovering strategies to manage them, which can all be very difficult for people. I work to help clients improve their quality of life by providing skills, support, and evidenced-based interventions to ensure their success in achieving their goals and living a meaningful life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is typically solution focused. I will encourage patients to take what we discuss in sessions and make efforts to apply it to their lives! This may be in coping skills, or problem solving strategies, or even worksheets I'll hand out to supplement session discussions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session will explore my patient's history and background. We will talk about the factor's that contribute in the issues you're coming to therapy for. We also will collaborate in developing a treatment plan for you. Sessions going forward after that will mostly consist of my supporting you in reaching your goals such as skill building, restructuring, or supportive counseling.
