“Dr. Russell takes his time and is very thorough. I really took my time to research someone in the DFW metroplex that could perform very sensitive and specific dry needling for shoulder pain and thoracic outlet syndrome. He popped up and once I got in touch, he contacted me right away. He's got an excellent bedside manner and is very thorough in testing and treating me, even more than the physicians were. You can tell he is very passionate about his work! He's got a patient now for life!”

About Russell Darrington
Russell Darrington has practiced physical therapy for over 30 years. In addition to receiving his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 1994, he also completed Advanced Fellowship training with the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy in 2018. This included certifications in Dry Needling and Spinal and Extremity Manipulation, culminating in receiving his Diploma of Osteopractic. Russell has also completed continuing education courses in Functional Movement System (FMS), McKenzie Diagnostic Therapy, and is a Certified TPI Golf Performance Specialist. Previous to opening Phoenix Osteopractic Physical Therapy, he owned and operated his own home health contract company for 18 years.

Dr. Russell takes his time and is very thorough. Dr. Darrington is fantastic! I have yet to meet a doctor that cares about his patients quite like him. His office is clean and welcoming. My experiences with Dr. Darrington have been nothing short of wonderful. I have come to him for three separate physical therapy injuries and therapy each time his treatment plan was exceptional.

Russell is professional, knowledgeable, polite, friendly and patient. He’s very easy to work with, not pushy, gives undivided attention during the visit and answers calls and texts with questions and concerns.
Working with Russell is such a pleasant experience after experiencing a more corporate style therapy center where they get you started and walk away to attend to 5 other patients. The last place I had therapy at let me down by giving me a therapist that was pushy and gave me exercises that caused me lasting pain.
Russell educates as he works which I appreciate.
