About Dr. Sam McManus

Sam is from Long Island New York and moved to the DC area in 2019. He completed his Bachelor's in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo and then went on to obtain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University. Sam also holds a specialty certification in strength and conditioning that he uses to supplement his foundation for exercise interventions with patients. Sam is passionate about providing individualized quality patient care and enjoys working with his patients to achieve their goals and optimize their function. Sam strongly believes in patient empowerment and views himself as a primary facilitator in the recovery process. In his spare time, Sam enjoys staying active with weightlifting, cycling, and playing soccer. Sam is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
