About Dr. Susan Hinson

With over 20 years of experience in physical therapy, Susan has honed her skills in a wide range of clinical settings, from the fast-paced demands of acute care in hospitals to the more personalized approach of outpatient clinics. This breadth of experience has allowed her to cultivate a deep understanding of patient needs across different stages of rehabilitation, enabling her to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to a diverse range of individuals. Susan earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University, further strengthening her expertise and commitment to the field. She brings a sense of calm and confidence to her work and deeply enjoys working with her patients, finding great joy in teaching them. Her passion for education extends to mentoring student physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, and she spent seven years as a faculty member in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at San Jacinto College. Susan is committed to making a positive impact on her patients' lives, helping them get back on track to enjoy the life they love.

Today was a pretty good day for me. We are still working on my balance walking on the tramp dine and on the balancing bar. We had to do some head work turning side to side and up and down. Overall we still have a lot of improve. I enjoy my visit and working with Susan and Elizabeth. Thank you for all that you do to help me improve my balance.
