I received my doctorate from Oregon State University in Counselor Education and Supervision. I'm a repeat Alumni of Portland State University, receiving a Master's in Counseling with an emphasis on Rehabilitation and Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Psychology. I'm a Nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a State and Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor, and a License Professional Counselor in multiple states. Some of my work includes working closely with adolescent and adult gang members, domestic violence intervention and prevention, and working with the Coalition for Human Sex Trafficking, aiding victims with the transition. I have over two decades of experience addressing and training individuals around multicultural and social justice issues.
