Getting to know Tomiah Conley

Specializing in various mood disorders, trauma, and addiction, I have more than a decade of experience working with individuals ranging from 3 to 73 years old. My career spans diverse settings, including colleges, community mental health, private practice, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities. I hold dual Master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Ohio University and am currently completing a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision-all while being a single mother of four daughters. I am living proof that recovery, overcoming challenges, and finding the right support can transform brokenness into wholeness. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor in Ohio, I have been actively serving my community since 2014. I am passionate about Peer Recovery Supporters and am working to develop a network of individuals on their own recovery journeys who can give back to others. Currently, I serve as a clinical director and supervisor, training current and future counselors to become compassionate and effective helping professionals. I look forward to working with you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to gain insight into the therapeutic process during our first session while learning more about me as a therapist and themselves as a client. Once history has been gathered and goals established, clients can expect to move forward a pace that works for them and their current situations. They will find a supportive and encouraging helping professional who listens well and assists them in achieving the quality of life they are seeking.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
