It was through these early experiences that I learned the immense value of listening, and I knew this was the profession for me. I pursued my passion by earning a B.S. degree and later an M.S.W. in Social Work. Today, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical, licensed to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and DC. With over thirty years of experience in crisis intervention, individual therapy, group therapy, and case management, I have had the privilege of helping many individuals navigate their challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, and I believe in the power of modern technology to bridge gaps and provide support. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or navigating life transitions, I'm here to help you conquer your fears and understand the patterns that may be holding you back. I specialize in a wide range of areas including anger management, dementia, family relationships, multicultural and diversity issues, psychosis and schizophrenia, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, and trauma. Outside of my professional life, I value the importance of spirituality and diversity, and I strive to bring these values into my practice.
