Hi there, I'm Wilmer! I help individuals navigate trauma in a nonjudgmental, supportive space. Together, we work collaboratively to develop coping skills using tools such as CBT & EMDR to help process trauma, manage unwanted thoughts and behaviors, and build confidence for a more balanced life. My approach I use skills such as CBT and EMDR to help you process trauma, manage unwanted thoughts, and build coping skills. We'll explore your goals and challenges, then create a plan tailored to you. Throughout therapy, I'll guide and support you as you learn practical tools for lasting emotional balance. My focus You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like yourself lately—and you're not alone. I work with adults who are navigating all kinds of life challenges, whether it's stress, anxiety, relationship struggles, or simply trying to figure out what's next. If you're looking for a space where you can be heard, supported, and not judged, that's what I'm here to offer. In our work together, we'll focus on what matters most to you. We'll go at your pace, explore what’s getting in the way, and find practical, meaningful ways to help you move forward and feel more like yourself again. My communication style I provide a safe, collaborative space where we work together to create coping strategies designed for you, process difficult experiences, and build resilience, helping you find balance, clarity, and a greater sense of control and hope in your life. My journey to mental healthcare What initially drew me to this field was the desire to make a real difference in people’s lives. Growing up as a first-generation American, Afro-Latino, and from an urban city, I saw how hard it can be for people to get the support they need. That experience shaped my drive to help create spaces where people can feel seen, understood, and empowered to make lasting change in their lives.
