On Sunday morning, I booked a 3:40 PM Zocdoc appointment for my daughter due to an asthma flare-up and received an immediate confirmation email. However, I received no further communication from the office.By 3:35 PM, I still had not received the appointment link,I called the office. I was then told at 3:52 that I needed to download the Klara app, complete & upload a PDF form, & my child’s medical card before she could be seen. This information was not provided in advance.After completing everything as instructed & calling back, I was told I was too late to be seen & the delay was blamed on me. It was 4:18 PM at that point. The two staff members I spoke with were polite but not honest & seemed more focused on ending the call than helping. My child waited all day for an appointment to get medication she needed, only to be told the doctor could not see her—even though I called before the scheduled time. I am very disappointed & want others to know how unprofessional this office was.

Doctor was incredibly warm, attentive, and easy to talk to. Not like the typical experience I have with PCPs where they can be dismissive or uncomfortable to interact with.
Felt like he took the time to hear all my symptoms, ran an assessment, and offered ideas for what diagnostics we should run next.

I booked an appointment with Dr. Medrano at random, and it turned out he was amazing! He really listened, took detailed notes, and asked follow-up questions. Even though my situation is super rare, he believed me about what was going on (it's sad that this is noteworthy, but it is!) He also did extra research to make sure I knew all the vaccines I'd need for an upcoming trip, not just the ones I came in asking for. He wasn't rushed and was really easy to talk to. I was really impressed and will now be going to him regularly.

He is honestly the best listener. I have been going through hell the past 3/4 weeks. I’ve been from specialist to specialist dealing with a very complex set of symptoms. I have seen another PCP who truly was not wonderful and didn’t offer much support.
