About Dr. Lovonne Brown
Born and raised in the twin islands Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Lovonne Brown moved to the US as a young adult. After attending medical school at St. George’s University, she had the opportunity to return to Trinidad and worked as a medical intern in a rural hospital where she worked with refugees and immigrants. This experience ignited her passion to address the persistent health disparities within these populations as well as worldwide. Dr. Brown is excited to work with patients in marginalized communities where she can help leave positive footprints through the field of family medicine via community outreach programs, preventative medicine, emergency medicine and international medicine!

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend visiting this office. My symptoms that were dismissed as “anxiety” paid me a visit to the ER for a bacterial infection. Plus the office charged me for 3 appointments (only 2 happened). The last one 1, they cancelled themselves and profusely refused to reimburse me. Negligent staff and provider.

I saw Dr. Brown 2.5 weeks ago. She was super friendly and eager to help as well as prompt with getting prescriptions in. She ordered some labs for me as well.
My symptoms worsened over the next week (I was just terribly ill), and when I reached out to her via Klara, absolutely no response. I called her office several times over the next few days, and each time the person I spoke with assured me she would get back to me. She never did. Even worse, she never sent me my lab results, and when I called them 1.5 weeks after having the labs done, her office told me they were still waiting. Again, they told me she would communicate to me via Klara and she never did. Labs still have not come back. I ended up going somewhere else to get looked at because I was utterly fed up with the situation. The other place had my labs back to me within 1 day.
Overall, she was quite nice and seemed knowledgeable. But the complete failure to communicate anything to me after the visit was a dealbreaker.

Love! Love! Love! I loved everything about my experience with Dr. Brown and her team at Westside Family Medicine. She was very friendly, I felt like we could’ve chatted for hours (but she had other patients). She was thorough with her questions and took the the time to genuinely get to know me my medical history. She offered insightful solutions and gave me tips and pointers to keep in mind concerning my health. Her staff were equally as friendly and the space was clean. There was no wait time. I’m looking forward to my next visit

I had two appointments with this provider. The first time though I chose Dr.Brown I was rescheduled with someone else and had to call the office to reschedule myself with the inital provider.
Second upon my first visit the wait was longer than expected but the appointment was satisfactory.
My follow-up appointment however was not, I showed up to my appointment and was not seen, I asked to be fit in the schedule and was dismissed than charged for them canceling my appointment though I did not request that.

I would highly recommend Dr. Brown. She was amazing and listened to me right away! She had knowledge on depression and different kinds of medication. This is my first time taking medication for depression and it's only been 3 days but I feel great so far and less sad. I look forward to her being my doctor and follow up visits
