About Robert Hobbs

A native of Louisville, he moved south to play college baseball at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. He has a diverse educational background, including a BS in Business from ULL, a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Louisville, a BSN from Bellarmine University, and a Master's Degree in Adult Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner from Saint Louis University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Eastern Kentucky University. Bob has treated thousands of patients over his 20+ years in healthcare. In 2017, he received his diplomate standing with the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. He also serves on the Advisory Board of ATA Medical Programs. Bob has spoken at the 2013 American College of Lifestyle Medicine Annual Conference, the 2017 Louisville Vegfest, the University of Louisville School of Medicine from 2018 to 2020, the 2020 Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis School of Health and Human Services, and numerous local organizations. He is the author of Resolution Kept. Bob has competed in 60 triathlons over 40 years, including four Ironman-distance races and two half Ironman-distance races. He is a Silver Medalist in Triathlon for the US Senior Games. With a passion for health and fitness, Bob strives to help everyone achieve optimal health.
