About Dr. Steven Nevers

After finishing his undergraduate degree in bioinformatics at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Dr. Steven Nevers earned his medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. He completed his family medicine residency at HCA Houston Healthcare-University of Houston, followed by a fellowship in clinical informatics at the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Nevers, who is board certified in family medicine, has been in practice since 2020. He sees patients of all ages for acute symptoms and complaints, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure. One of his primary clinical interests is preventive medicine, particularly helping patients get routine screenings. His approach to care places the patient at the center. He wants his patients to feel listened to and to trust him. Recognizing the uniqueness of each patient’s life experiences, he focuses on collaborating with them to help them reach their health goals.
