Psychotherapist

Starting or growing a family can be one of life’s most meaningful and most challenging journeys. Many people find themselves navigating unexpected grief, infertility struggles, pregnancy complications, birth trauma, postpartum depression or anxiety, and the everyday stress of parenting. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered as you move through these transitions. As a therapist specializing in reproductive and perinatal mental health, I use a compassionate, evidence-based, and trauma-informed approach. I draw from mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and relational work to help clients find strength, healing, and resilience. Together, we’ll explore your experiences in a way that honors both the challenges and the hope within your story. Whether you are coping with loss, navigating fertility treatments, adjusting to life after birth, or managing the complexities of parenthood, you don’t have to go through it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you in this season and help you find meaningful ways forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where your story is heard and honored. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine, collaborative relationship. I’ll listen deeply, reflect back what I hear, and also offer practical tools and strategies when they feel helpful. I move at your pace, we’ll go as slowly or as quickly as feels right for you and I’ll check in often to make sure our work is supporting your needs. Clients often tell me that I balance compassion with gentle honesty and humor helping them feel both safe and encouraged to grow. Because my specialty is reproductive and perinatal mental health, I also bring an understanding of the unique challenges that come with infertility, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and parenting. My goal is to support you in finding steadiness, meaning, and strength during life’s most tender transitions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first sessions, I’ll take time to really get to know you, your history, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been most difficult and also about your strengths and coping strategies. Together, we’ll create goals that feel meaningful and realistic. As we move forward, I use a mix of supportive conversation and evidence-based techniques such as mindfulness, CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), and trauma-informed approaches like EMDR (when indicated). Some sessions may feel more like a safe space to process and be heard, while others may be more focused on learning new tools and strategies to manage stress, anxiety, or grief. Throughout our work, I’ll check in often about what’s helpful and make adjustments so that therapy always feels collaborative and tailored to you. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and equipped to navigate whatever stage of your reproductive or parenting journey you’re in.
