“Andie was such a great person to talk too. Her dedication and professionalism are a true breath of fresh air. Andie made it easy to open up about what was bothering me and gave me multiple coping skills to help. Hopefully, I never have too, but if I ever do need a therapist again, or if anyone asks me to recommend a therapist, I surely would recommend Andie. *Please do not use my review as I would like it to be kept confidential.*”

Getting to know Andie Ofsink

Andie holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCN) and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from New York University. She has experience working with individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds, as well as those facing a range of challenges and mental health issues. She encourages individuals to prioritize their mental health, believing that a positive mindset can open doors to motivation, self-confidence, and stability.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am caring, practical and realistic, catering to your specific situation. I will listen as you speak and open myself up to learning about you. I am encouraging and emphasize goal setting and celebrate goal achievements along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My ideal client is an individual who recognizes a challenge and is interested in making a positive change to improve their life. Their issues may include life stressors, feelings of anxiety or depression, and lack of motivation and confidence in themselves. I support adults, adolescents, and children through these challenges. The client may not come to therapy with goals written out, but they are willing to set goals together that meet their needs and help them to move forward, taking the appropriate steps to work towards reaching them.
