My approach Together, we will identify the questions and challenges you are experiencing and collaborate on ways to help you move forward with increasing confidence. I use a trauma-informed, person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors and move towards your goals. This approach is hands-on and gives you tools to feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. Based on your unique needs, I may adapt my approach to include practices like mindfulness, schema work, and EMDR. I may also include some creative arts/music, writing, journaling, or reading activities. Your safety, goals, and progress are my primary focus. We will create a treatment experience to fit your needs. My focus I work with adults who are managing or struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, traumas, self-esteem, and those wanting to explore spirituality issues. I specialize in helping creative and performing artists with the unique challenges related to their art. Such as repeated rejection, grief/loss of work, performance anxiety, and mental blocks.
