"Life brings amazing ups and downs, and we all can expect to feel “out of sorts” sometimes. However, when it seems we are unable to cope with feelings of lostness, hopelessness, helplessness, aggressiveness, and even worthlessness, we may need the support of a professional mental health counselor to help us find our way back to a place of comfort, happiness, hope, optimism, peacefulness, and personal value. My services are provided in a “safe container” where you can confidentially explore issues that you may not be able to with friends, family, or even a partner. If this sounds like something you need to improve your life, I am here for you! I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and began my Master of Business Administration (MBA) studies when I realized my true purpose was to help others navigate the hurdles and barriers to living a happy and healthy life. Consequently, I started working with individuals incarcerated for various reasons and a full range of crimes. I believed that if I could help people in those circumstances, I would be better prepared to assist individuals living freely in society. I decided to transition my MBA studies to a Graduate Certificate in Business and enter a program where I could learn the skills necessary to provide them with the best opportunities for habilitation and rehabilitation. I earned a Master of Arts in Human Service Counseling: Criminal Justice, followed by a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, a CACREP-accredited program from Liberty University, to acquire the tools needed to help more people live their best lives. I began providing therapeutic mental health skill-building services in 2016, outpatient therapy in 2017, and mobile crisis response in 2022.
