UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. Progressive, tattooed, inclusive, cursing, non-religious, and affirming. I super love working with people who have lost the plot, are transitioning to the next stages, and folks that just feel a bit lost right now. We are utterly disconnected from our own humanity in this culture, but I believe that we can make meaningful changes. I have an eclectic approach, which is a fancy way of saying that I don't have just one modality that I rely on, but tend to pull heavily from positive psychology, where we will focus on what you are already getting right while looking toward your values to make those meaningful changes. I hold a Master’s in Community and Agency Counseling from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University.
