What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is collaborative and client centered Together, we define goals of therapy based on the client's values and individual qualities and unique experiences, seeking desired outcomes through information sharing, education, therapy tools and therapeutic exercises. We will develop strategies to best manage the circumstances focused on in sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A session is scheduled for 45-55 minutes in which we would start with a check in to review how things have been going since last session. Then we would make a plan on what the client/you would like to work on during this session. discussing feelings, providing education coping techniques and strategies and reviewing tools or approaches to be applied to improve the client's /your situation. During the end of the session we will summarize and set any homework/follow up activities prior to next session.
