Getting to know Patricia Boslet

My name is Patti Boslet, MHC-LP. I am a dedicated clinician with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. Developing as a person and navigating different facets of life can bring stress and overwhelm. Whether you're experiencing negative thoughts, feeling low or disconnected, or simply wanting positive change, therapy can be a space devoted to addressing those psychological needs and making room for more of what you want out of life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Though I use an integrative approach drawing from several modalities in my practice, we will together explore your reasons in seeking therapy and collaboratively decide on the course of treatment. I believe that people feel their best when they can express themselves authentically and are in connection with others. Therefore, a primary focus will always be to establish positive rapport within the therapeutic relationship.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The goal is to reduce your suffering and increase personal peace and life/relationship satisfaction. You, as an individual, possess self-expertise and insight. My role is to provide tailored support and strategic interventions as we progress. I provide a lot of psychoeducation and emphasize transparency throughout the therapeutic process.

Patti was always so open minded and in tune to my needs in my mental health journey. She made me feel so comfortable opening up and provided useful tools to guide me.
Patti is amazing at what she does! You can always tell she is listening and have your best interest at heart. My favorite thing about Patti is that she always makes me feel safe and creates an environment that makes it easy to be vulnerable. I appreciate that she is able to gently make recommendations that are based on the conversation that we had to help me get to a place of healing. She is the best person to have in your corner!
Excellent visit! Patricia was punctual, communicative, and an active listener. Very knowledgeable & compassionate. Recommend strongly.
Patricia has helped me through a lot. She’s a great listener, and during our sessions I never felt judged. She helped me identify connections to how I was feeling, and I always looked forward to our session.
She is very kind with her tone and it helps me feel understood when I speak to her. I can tell by the way she responds and asks questions that she knows what she’s talking about and genuinely cares how I’m doing.
Patti is a great listener and always puts things into perspective for me in relation to my trauma but in a way that allows me to feel compassion for myself and others. I’m validated without this inherent need to be a victim in my own narrative. Shes taught me the art of healthy boundaries and how to maintain them while also being realistic about my wants and complex relationships with family. She’s guided me through significant breakthroughs in my depression and anxiety and I can live a healthy lifestyle whilst maintaining my mental health drug free! She’s been instrumental in demonstrating how to set up a network of healthy habits, routines and coping mechanisms that allow me to balance my emotional state. As we continue working towards new goals that address others areas of struggle she is patient and supportive and continues to try new ways to allow me to cope and understand my feelings and is always being innovative about solutions that may work best for me and my life.
Patti’s therapy style provided my family a safe, trusting environment to express their hurt and concerns during challenging, chaotic & shifting dynamics of their young lives. Her professionalism and compassionate demeanor gave them a sense of hope and trust that someone neutral was listening, cared about their safety, well being, feelings, and taught them applicable and effective strategies to overcome their challenges and meet treatment goals. The children trusted Patti and enjoyed talking with her as they engaged in play therapy and they conquered their fears and found paths of resolve that they could understand and believe were actually going to help them feel they were not alone and that the future would be ok.
