UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I work collaboratively with my clients, combining research-proven techniques with your preferences and self-knowledge. My style is straightforward and down-to-earth! I bring a sense of humor and believe therapy should be a rewarding process. While my clinical approach is mainly cognitive-behavioral, I integrate physiology, anthropology, and other schools of therapy, staying on my toes and thinking outside of the box for each client's context. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Master's in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor's degree from Duke University. My diverse educational background informs my holistic approach to therapy. My goal is always to help you build lasting change that leaves you independent and able to prevent or manage future challenges. I'm happy to schedule a free consultation to help you determine if I would be a good fit for you.
